I have known Lydie for the past 3 months since she started providing my daughters with private French lessons. Although my daughters have been attending a French immersion school for the past two years, they were lacking confidence when it came to speaking French. In the time that Lydie has been teaching them, I have noted a significant improvement in their ability to communicate in French. In the months that Lydie was our daughters' teacher, we have observed an excellent feeling and motivation from our two daughters about her class. Both of them always look forward to their French language class and cannot wait to meet Ms. Lydie.
She had developed a language teaching mythology where she gets our daughters engaged and ask for more and never get bored to attend her class. Activities like painting, cooking, work searching..etc. have helped our daughters to stay interested to learn the language.

My 9 year old son has been going to Lydie’s class once a week for about a year now and simply loves it. He is always excited to go and enjoys learning through games. When he started he could barely understand simple, single words, but is now capable to follow and participate in simple conversations.

My son loves French lessons with Lydie!! She makes learning engaging and enjoyable for him. Lydie has created many fun games that are very effective teachers, and he responds well to them. After only a few weeks of lessons my son had built a sizable vocabulary of useful words and Lydie had even taught him to use them in complete sentences. Besides being an excellent teacher, Lydie is kind. She keeps a close eye on my son’s level of fatigue and is equipped with fun activities and games that mix things up and energize him again for the whole hour-long session. She is truly dedicated to her students. Lydie’s French lessons are worth every penny and more!

My daughter started taking 1-2-1 lessons with Miss Lydie at 5 years old and at a point where she was becoming quite reluctant on learning any other language. As soon as she started her lessons with Miss Lydie it all changed. She loves going to her French lessons and we can all see how fast she is progressing, from not wanting to learn to start spontaneously to speak to us in French!
Learning a new language takes time and commitment, which is why we are so thrilled that our daughter feels completely at home with Miss Lydie; and the minute she starts her lesson she is relaxed and ready to learn.

Patient with High Expectations
She really has a passion for teaching the French language to others and really wants you to learn. I enjoy learning with her and enjoy every session we have. She is punctual and patient a great combination. If you really want to learn French and learn to speak and not just learn vocabulary she is the perfect teacher.

Amazing teacher
Lydia makes you talk in French and you learn a lot within one hour. Love the speed and method. For someone who wanna speak French in a short terms, be able to communicate and understand French ppl well.

The Key to Learning a Language: The Instructor
Lydie has been helping me recoup the French language skills I had learned in high school and college. She's an attentive, patient, personable and enjoyable instructor. I have only had a few lessons so far with Lydie and I absolutely love working with her. I have always struggled with foreign languages but after only a few weeks I feel like I can express myself in french and can see myself being able to have conversations soon. Phenomenal experience!!
First of all, if you are looking for a good French tutor, don't go further. Two of my daughters learn French with Lydie now. They are very happy and we see the progress every week. Lydie is a natural speaking with an absolutely unique approach. My kids start speaking with full sentences in French from the first lesson. Super Happy!
